community. e-music community. :loop enthusiasts. dj's and cakewalkers. all of them either missing or underground in my locale. the pulse of electronic expression is faint and i'm troubled by this. this city is nothing more than a crater carved in the musical soul from the incessant artillery that is mainstream music. if you're out there, rise up, sound off, and be heard. we are a collective, we just haven't actualized it yet. express, share, broadcast, soar. reach out. today marks the birth of my search for others of my kind. the first step is kontact.

i can't explain what it is about electronic music that moves me so. it is the culmination of an ebb and flow of emotion and intelligence. the deep complexity of even the simplest of patterns, tempered by a triggered emotive experience. it is truly the deepest frontier of the human spirit, timeshared with the electronic instument. i have great sorrow for the machine, it knows only the perfomance, not the joy of such expression. then again, i could be wrong. regardless, the aural boundries of my soul are ever expanding.
